Swagelok is seeking a hands-on SAP Datasphere developer to build reliable SAP data objects from extraction through curated reporting structures. The role’s primary technical focus is SAP Datasphere and ODP extractors, including full-load and delta-load scenarios. Microsoft Fabric experience is valuable but secondary, with emphasis on how Datasphere outputs support Fabric Warehouses, Dataflow Gen2, Power Query, SQL, and Power BI reporting. The position serves as a full-lifecycle developer for supported solutions and applications. The developer participates in requirements gathering and analysis, solution design and architecture, application and interface development, testing, documentation, deployment, production support, and ongoing maintenance and enhancements. The role works closely with business stakeholders, subject-matter experts, project teams, and IT colleagues to turn business requests and design specifications into documented, scalable solutions. The role also addresses production application and systems problems, performs peer design and code reviews, and applies enterprise standards and quality processes. It designs and optimizes database objects and queries, reports task effort and duration, works independently when appropriate, and maintains current technical knowledge. Some off-hours support may be necessary. The working environment is a normal office environment, and travel between locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania may be needed.
