About The Position

As a Microsoft Data Center Program Manager (DCPM) - IT/Network, you will support assigned IT and network deployment programs from planning and readiness through execution, operational handoff, and closeout. You will coordinate across IT, Network, Critical Environments, Logistics, Site Services, Security, Engineering, Operations, and vendor partners to manage schedules, dependencies, risks, readiness, and delivery activities. This role requires sufficient understanding of IT and network infrastructure to effectively coordinate deployment activities and their operational impacts, while technical approvals remain with the appropriate qualified functions. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent AND 1+ years industry experience OR 2+ years industry experience and college course work.
3+ years of experience in Data Center Operations, IT Infrastructure, Network Infrastructure, Engineering Operations, Deployment Services, Critical Environments, Technical Operations, or Project/Program Management.
1+ year of experience supporting or coordinating projects, infrastructure deployments, operational activities, schedules, vendors, or cross-functional stakeholders.
1+ year of experience tracking project or program activities such as schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, actions, or deliverables.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

5+ years of experience in data center, network, IT infrastructure, engineering, operations, deployment, or project/program management environments.
2+ years of experience supporting IT or network infrastructure deployments involving servers, racks, structured cabling, fiber, networking, wireless, or related infrastructure.
2+ years of experience coordinating project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, vendors, or cross-functional stakeholders.
1+ year of experience supporting deployment readiness, infrastructure migrations, cutovers, operational handoffs, or infrastructure change activities.
1+ year of experience with process improvement, analytics, automation, reporting, or operational improvement.
Relevant certification such as Azure, Azure Networking, CCNA/CCNP, Network+, Security+, PMP, CAPM, Agile/Scrum, ITIL, Power Platform, automation, or data analytics.

Responsibilities

Support assigned IT and Network deployment programs from planning and readiness through execution, operational handoff, and closeout.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, actions, decisions, and change controls.
Coordinate deployment activities across IT, Network, Critical Environments, Logistics, Site Services, Security, Engineering, Operations, and vendor partners.
Support deployment readiness, migration, cutover, turnover, and operational acceptance activities.
Validate execution readiness, including procedures, staffing, materials, tools, access, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment.
Coordinate with third-party vendors to track delivery against statements of work (SOWs), schedules, service-level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), quality requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Identify risks, issues, resource constraints, schedule conflicts, and delivery variances and escalate appropriately to support timely resolution.
Maintain visibility into schedule, resources, quality, budget considerations, and operational impacts while providing clear stakeholder communication.
Support safety, security, compliance, quality, documentation, and operational-readiness requirements throughout program execution and handoff.
Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of deployment processes, standards, tools, and best practices.
