About The Position
The Databricks/PySpark Engineer will work onsite in Waukegan, Illinois, for an ecommerce client. The role is offered as a 12-month contract-to-hire engagement, possibly longer, with the possibility of moving to the client’s W-2 employment after the contract period. The client is currently considering local U.S. citizens and Green Card holders only; OPT and CPT candidates are not being considered. Interviews are expected to include two online interviews and possibly one onsite interview. Compensation is open and based on qualifications.
Requirements
- Expert-level Databricks skills.
- Strong ETL experience.
- Strong PySpark skills.
- Strong SQL experience.
- Must be local to the Waukegan, Illinois area; candidates from Illinois and Wisconsin are sought.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder; OPT and CPT candidates are not being considered.
Nice To Haves
- Informatica experience is a significant plus.
