About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Data/Database Management Senior to support Facility and Equipment Maintenance (FEM). FEM is a DOD (Joint) system (Navy led). The Air Force portion of FEM supports Industrial Plant Equipment (IPE), Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL), Tool Management and Owner Maintenance which is used to track production support equipment for the ALC production shops. This position supports AFLCMC/GBM.

Requirements

Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoW.
OR, Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoW.
OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications.
eight of which must be in the DoW.
Must hold Active DoW Security Clearance (Secret)
CompTIA security+ CE.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of Oracle Stored procedures. Since all Maximo configurations use Oracle databases, FEM uses Stored Procedures to manipulate data within the database.
Familiarity with using Structured Query Language (SQL) in an Oracle database. FEM uses SQL for database triggers to support the configuration of Maximo to meet ALC FEM Requirements.
FEM uses SQL Packages/Procedures as part of the FEM system.
FEM uses SQL scripts as part of the FEM system.

Responsibilities

Documenting and delivering file plans.
Maintaining a variety of electronic files and websites utilizing web-based applications.
Analyzing and recommending data requirements and specifications.
Designing, normalizing, developing, installing, and implementing databases.
Maintaining, monitoring, performance tuning, backup, and recovery of databases.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining database management systems software.
Analyzing and planning for anticipated changes in data capacity requirements.
Developing and administering data standards, policies, and procedures.
Developing and implementing data mining and data warehousing programs.
Evaluating and providing recommendations on new database technologies and architectures.
Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of data management services.
