About The Position
The Database Engineer provides subject matter expertise for our USAF mission, offering analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and requirement definition. This role involves analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. This position is remote and requires an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area.
- Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
- 10 years of combined experience in: (a) Database development and software engineering/development; (b) Database Design and Data Modeling; (c) Requirements analysis/generation; (d) Developing systems and software architectures.
- Must have 5 years' experience working with Enterprise DB.
- 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
- Required Certification: DCWF Job Code: 421 Advanced
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated installation scripts.
- Demonstrated experience developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.
