Database Engineer L1/L2
About The Position
Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for experienced Database Engineers to join their rapidly growing team! This role involves performing routine database maintenance such as backups, indexing, and performance tuning. You will also troubleshoot and resolve database issues like performance bottlenecks and connectivity problems, monitor database systems for high availability and performance, and implement and maintain database security, including access controls and patching. Additionally, you will write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers, collaborate with other teams to integrate database systems with applications, and document database configurations, processes, and architecture.
Requirements
- Proficiency in DBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle , or MS SQL Server.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning.
- Experience with cloud database services.
- Experience with scripting languages for automation.
- An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
- Last Poly within past 7 years.
- BS + 3 years experience (Level 1)
- BS + 5 years experience (Level 2)
