About The Position

Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Database Engineer to provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. This role involves providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architecture, and other related management and technical duties. Requires expertise in a specialty area.

Requirements

Ten (10) years combined experience in each of the following for relational and cloud-based databases: Database development and software engineering/development, Database Design and Data Modeling, Requirements analysis/generation, Developing systems and software architectures
Must have 5 years' experience working with Enterprise DB.
7 years of experience with PostgreSQL
Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated installation scripts.
Demonstrated experience developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.

Demonstrated ability to diagnose, resolve, and implement solutions for complex enterprise database ingest and export challenges, delivering timely and reliable outcomes across diverse external data sources, environments, and enclaves.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers, ensuring alignment, transparency, and shared understanding across all phases of the project.
