Database Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer with a minimum of 6+ years of related experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with proven expertise in Snowflake data platform administration. A current SnowPro Core certification is strongly desired, and more advanced Snowflake platform certifications are considered a plus. The role requires extensive experience with SQL programming and/or relational database administration on mainstream platforms such as Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Proficiency in Python and Bash script development on Linux is essential, along with basic proficiency in Terraform and Ansible. Experience with CI/CD toolchains like GitLab, Bitbucket, and Jenkins is necessary. Basic AWS IaaS administration skills are required, though experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform is acceptable. Additionally, basic Linux system administration skills are needed. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodology and tools like JIRA, as well as ITSM processes and tools like ServiceNow, is expected.
Requirements
