About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer with 5-10+ years of experience in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or AWS RDS. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in SQL development, stored procedures, data modeling, indexing, and performance tuning. Experience with data migration, ETL, data validation, and integration with REST APIs is essential. The role requires the ability to design databases that support large data volumes and high numbers of concurrent users. Experience with cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or Appian Government Cloud is also important. Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps tools like Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines is expected, as is knowledge of FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, RMF, and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA). Experience implementing role-based access controls, encryption, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is necessary.
