About The Position

GDIT is seeking a Facility Accreditation Module (FAM) Data Integrity Officer (Database Analyst) to join their team. The role involves administering the FAM system, including managing user accounts and access. Responsibilities include training users, developing and managing discrepancy and change reports, and supporting government management with system development, error cleanup, and issue management. The analyst will also debug errors, test updates, and utilize the SQL back end for data correction, cleanup, updates, and reporting. Additionally, they will develop and execute various reports to ensure data integrity and accuracy, support Facility Accreditation management, and collaborate with other offices to interface data between FAM and other databases (e.g., Contract and IT systems). The position also requires providing technical support and advice to the Government in Intelligence Community working groups related to Facility Accreditation processes and tools.

Requirements

  • Experience with physical and logical database design.
  • Experience with web-based interfaces for database display and update.
  • Demonstrated experience with Transaction SQL and stored procedures.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2000, Database Design tools, and Microsoft development tools.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database and interfacing SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Excellent understanding of and experience with relational database architecture and design.
  • Experience with web development tools and related applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with systems requirements definition, systems update, testing and training.
  • Excellent software debugging skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of database analyst experience.
  • TS/SCI with poly required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the FAM system, which includes managing user accounts and supporting user access.
  • Train FAM users desk side and in formal classroom sessions.
  • Develop, document and manage Discrepancy Reports, Change Reports, and general requirements for FAM.
  • Support government management at meetings on the development of the FAM system, cleanup of discovered errors, and managing any developmental issues.
  • Debug errors in the system where possible.
  • Test updates and hot fixes during User Acceptance Testing.
  • Utilize SQL back end to perform data correction, cleanup, update, and reporting in FAM.
  • Develop and execute ad hoc, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to ensure data integrity, access data accuracy, and to support Facility Accreditation management.
  • Work with other offices to interface data appropriately between FAM and other databases, including but not limited to Contract and Information Technology (IT) systems.
  • Provide technical support and advise to the Government when attending working groups within the Intelligence Community on common Facility Accreditation processes and tools.
