About The Position

BNY is seeking a Database Administrator to join its Data and Analytics team in Boston, Massachusetts. The administrator works with internal organizations to address client issues and support requests, monitors database availability, capacity, and performance, and performs database backup and restoration. The role improves database performance through SQL tuning, architectural changes, and database parameter configuration; standardizes and automates environment management; evaluates new database features; and sets up and maintains Oracle GoldenGate services for client data replication. It includes rotating on-call support, including weekend coverage. The work schedule is hybrid, with a requirement to work in the office 20 days over a 90-day period.
