About The Position

The Database Administrator position requires knowledge of Azure, MDM Expertise, Azure Databricks, DevOps, Database Management, and development and automation. The position requires an ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to complete requests successfully against established timelines with limited supervision. This position also requires the ability to learn and apply new technology, work independently or in a team environment, and collaborate with all levels of staff to satisfy business needs. The Worker is responsible for performing computer systems analysis or development work. Work involves coordinating, planning, and analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems.

Requirements

Knowledge of Azure, MDM Expertise, Azure Databricks, DevOps, Database Management, and development and automation.

Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure SQL Database and other database offerings.
Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell scripting.
Strong knowledge of Azure Databricks and data warehouse concepts.
Deep understanding of Informatica MDM and data profiling.
Experience implementing DevOps practices, such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Deployment exposure in Salesforce and MuleSoft environments.
Proficient in administration, maintenance, tuning, and optimization for Oracle, PostgreSQL, Sybase, and other databases.
Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
Experience in database security, including data encryption, authentication, and authorization.
Proficiency in Oracle and PostgreSQL with ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
Hands-on experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Ability to create, manage, and monitor deployment and migration strategies.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance analysis to optimize database performance.
Strong expertise in troubleshooting database performance issues.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Effective verbal and written communication, including technical documentation.
Strong project management and multitasking skills.
4 years Required Data warehouse aggregation and integration of data across multiple applications.
4 years Required Assessing existing databases and multiple information sources for integration, improved data access, storage, and transparency.
4 years Required Data warehouse implementation processes: requirements, modeling, design, ETL, SQL, tuning.
4 years Required Enterprise Portal Application working knowledge.
4 years Required Excellent communication skills for leading development activities, leadership presentations, and training.
3 years Required Experience with user journey mapping, storyboarding, mockups, wireframes, usability design, prototyping.
2 years Required Performance management dashboard development.
