Database Administrator

About The Position

As we continue to grow our presence in North America, we’re looking for a Database Administrator to help ensure our database infrastructure remains stable, secure, and ready to scale. You’ll join a collaborative, skilled team responsible for the daily operation and continuous improvement of Centiro’s systems - in an environment with short decision paths, high trust, and a strong focus on quality. As a Database Administrator at Centiro, you will have overall responsibility for the operation, performance, and reliability of our database infrastructure. Your role is central to the availability and performance of our systems. You’ll work across SQL Server and MongoDB, operating in hybrid and cloud-based environments, and collaborate closely with developers, platform engineers, and operations teams. While you’ll take clear ownership of your database area, you won’t work in isolation - solving problems and improving solutions together is part of how we work. Based in Vancouver, you’ll support our North American operations and collaborate with global teams across time zones. Occasional international travel is required for this role (Sweden, India, US), including extended travel during the onboarding training period.
