About The Position

Quantum Sky is hiring an experienced Senior Database Administrator to maintain, optimize, secure, and modernize Oracle databases supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) E-Commerce System (ECS) in Aurora, Colorado. DHA ECS provides financial management, acquisition operations, and contract lifecycle support for TRICARE private-sector healthcare delivery. The Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) track supports multi-terabyte analytical and reporting databases, data warehouse layers, and bulk ingestion pipelines. The Contract Management (CM) track supports transactional databases for procurement and contract administration systems, including Global Unison PRISM, custom ColdFusion applications, and software change-control tools. Across both tracks, the DBA performs database operations, maintenance, tuning, backup and recovery, disaster preparedness, cybersecurity hardening, audit support, and outage response. The role operates under strict production access controls and service-level agreements, and participates in disaster recovery exercises and compliance activities.
