About The Position

U.S. Bank is seeking an accomplished Data Warehouse Analyst with database analysis and design experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Interprets and writes business and functional requirements associated with the design, development, maintenance and integrity of organizational and data repository. Leads multiple analysts in large complex projects. Analyzes data from various systems of record as it pertains to data warehousing. Leads communication with the business to understand and define data requirements. Writes complex functional and non-functional requirements pertaining to multiple systems of record sources and/or master data. Collaborates with data architect to define relationships in data within the system of record and data warehouse. Models the data conceptually and logically. Defines complex business rules concerning the process of the data warehouse. Designs methods for data validation to ensure quality. Creates procedures for developing and maintaining metadata and data mapping documents. Communicates effectively with business lines and various technology groups. Facilitates reviews of functional and non-functional requirements with development teams and business lines. Leads other data analysts. Provides consulting and guidance to other technical teams during requirements gathering and data discovery. Shares knowledge associated with tools for data analysis. Plans and conducts data warehouse and repository system tests, monitor test results and takes required corrective action.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years experience with tools, facilities and techniques for managing and administering data.
