About The Position

Knowledge Management, Inc. (KMI) is seeking an experienced Data Visualization Specialist to support program efforts within Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps. The ideal candidate will have experience working with enterprise-wide logistics/financial data, be intimately familiar with Marine Corps logistics systems, data, and data sources, and understand the Marine Corps organization and structure. KMI is a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Small Disadvantage Business (SDB) specializing in various technology, logistics, and management solutions.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience with data analytics, data engineering, software engineering, or similar roles
Bachelor's degree in operations research, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
Active DoD Secret security clearance required.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity of the organization structure of the Marine Corps operating forces, the Support Establishment, Reserves, and other DoD agencies
Mastery of HQMC administrative organization, processes, and procedures
Proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
Proficient in knowledge management to include 1) assessing needs and defining strategy, 2) analyze and design, 3) pilot and implement, 4) monitor and improve.

Responsibilities

Ensure the viability of data/data sources applying HQMC Data Governance rules
Apply approved techniques to format/transform data into informative visualization tools for enterprise-wide use
Design, implement, and maintain data visualization tools to support data analytics and visualization requirements
Coordinate and obtain information internal and external to prepare spreadsheets, briefings, reports, and/or recommendations to assist in providing responses to queries as required.
