About The Position

The Data Visualization Engineer supports Army Vantage by creating intuitive, user-friendly dashboards and visual products that help Army leaders make data-driven decisions. This role focuses on delivering analytical tools, data visualizations, and insights to improve operational awareness and decision-making. The position supports Army Vantage / Army data modernization initiatives and involves operational data, analytics, and visualization for decision-making.

Requirements

US Citizen
Active Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or a related field
Experience with Power BI
Experience with data visualization tools
Experience with dashboard development
Ability to build polished, production-ready dashboards
Ability to work in collaborative, team-based environments
Ability to support operational or analytical use cases
Strong visual design and storytelling skills
Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI)
Ability to translate complex data into clear insights
Strong communication and collaboration skills
VANTAGE: 5 years (Required)
Security clearance: Secret (Required)

Nice To Haves

Experience with SQL or other data querying languages
Experience integrating dashboards with platforms like SharePoint or other systems

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver dashboards that provide timely, actionable insights for Army operations
Create visualizations that simplify complex data for technical and non-technical users
Integrate dashboards into platforms such as SharePoint or other Army systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, engineers, and stakeholders
Maintain documentation, definitions, and consistency of metrics across systems
Support data-driven decision-making by presenting clear and meaningful insights
Assist in improving data visualization processes and tools
