About The Position

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Data Visualization Analyst for an approximately three-month onsite contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will design and maintain Tableau and Power BI dashboards, integrate data from multiple systems, and translate complex datasets into clear visualizations and business insights. The analyst will support data-driven decision-making by developing reporting solutions, analyzing project performance metrics, and improving access to actionable information.

Requirements

Experience designing and developing Tableau dashboards.
Experience with Power BI and/or similar business intelligence reporting tools.
Experience integrating and extracting data from multiple systems and environments.
Experience with data modeling.
Proficiency with Excel.
Experience using Tableau in a source-controlled development environment.
Ability to create and maintain report-layer transformations, calculations, and measures.
Ability to collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data.
Familiarity with programming or scripting languages used for data manipulation, such as Python, R, or SQL.
Understanding of project and performance metrics such as KPIs, Earned Value Management, schedule performance, and cost variance.
Ability to translate complex datasets into clear visualizations and actionable insights.
Ability to communicate analytical findings effectively to business stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
U.S. citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with SharePoint.
Experience combining Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and other modeling or visualization tools.
Experience supporting project, program, or operational performance reporting.
Experience developing dashboards for continuous-improvement or decision-support initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.
Develop Power BI dashboards and reports as needed.
Connect and integrate data from multiple business and technical systems.
Build and maintain data models supporting reporting and visualization.
Create report-level transformations, calculated fields, and measures.
Analyze complex datasets and identify meaningful trends, risks, and opportunities.
Develop visualizations that clearly communicate performance and business insights.
Support reporting on KPIs, Earned Value Management, schedule performance, and cost variance.
Clean and prepare data for analysis and reporting.
Use Python, R, SQL, or similar tools to manipulate and analyze data.
Maintain Tableau assets within a source-controlled environment.
Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and improve decision-making.
