About The Position

Phoenix Home Care and Hospice is looking for a detail-driven Data Verification Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. If you are highly organized, enjoy catching errors others miss, and thrive in a fast-paced office environment, this could be the perfect fit. This role plays an important part in ensuring accurate time verification, compliance, and billing support for our non-acute services teams. Your work directly supports the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency behind the care we provide every day.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic bookkeeping or auditing knowledge preferred
  • Experience with Medicaid or healthcare administration preferred
  • Previous office experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily time verification reviews for non-acute services
  • Perform exception audits to ensure compliance with state regulations
  • Identify, correct, and update documentation errors
  • Work closely with Operations and internal departments to resolve issues
  • Maintain HIPAA and EVV compliance standards
  • Communicate professionally with peers, leadership, and support teams
  • Assist with additional administrative and verification tasks as assigned
