Data Validator – Navy Submarine Systems
About The Position
CACI is seeking a skilled Data Validator to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona. This role involves critical defense projects impacting US Navy operations. The position requires validation of source data before loading into Material Readiness Databases (MRDB), reviewing Fleet Failure data for accuracy and relevancy, and ensuring data accuracy and completeness according to documented standards. The Data Validator will monitor data quality, resolve issues, perform ad-hoc data calls, and participate in data reviews with Government Analysts. Regular audits of data entries for compliance, implementation of process improvements, and collaboration with IT teams for technical issue resolution are also key responsibilities. Maintaining documentation of all data validation processes and procedures is required.
Requirements
- Relevant Degree or US Navy equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in data validation or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in using data validation software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with US Navy ship and submarine systems is desired.
- Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance Preferred.
Responsibilities
