About The Position

YipitData is seeking a Data Validation Analyst (Junior Sales Engineer) to join their GTM Data Validation team within the Corporate practice. This role will support the new logo sales team through technical expertise and solutioning. The Data Validation Analyst will work at the intersection of revenue and data, troubleshooting with urgency and curiosity in a customer-focused role. This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can be based in NYC, one of YipitData's office hubs (Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, or Seattle), or anywhere else in the US. The position involves collaborating with organizations to help them understand external data, sourcing, cleaning, organizing, and contextualizing it to answer key business questions. The Solutions Engineering team works closely with Sales and Data Product teams to demonstrate data accuracy and reliability, create solutions, and set expectations for client success.

Requirements

1-4 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Client-Facing Data Analysis, Customer Success in a Technical Environment, or Sales/Account Management.
Commitment to long-term account health.
Eagerness to understand customers and their needs and craft solutions for long-term partnerships.
Eagerness to be in a highly customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

Support Sales and Account Executive teams through technical expertise, product mastery, and in-depth data analysis to help prospective partners gain trust in YipitData's data, methodologies, and product outputs.
Understand customer goals and needs and scope appropriate solutions, balancing customer demand, budgets, and available data assets and coverage.
Troubleshoot data quality issues to overcome skepticism and guide improvements to data coverage and methodology.
Collaborate cross-functionally to guide the onboarding journey and early customer success in partnership with data, insights, client strategy, and account executive teams.
Enable commercial partners through continuous refinement of available GTM assets and processes to accelerate deal cycles and power business growth.
