At UWD, technology and data play a critical role in advancing our mission of achieving dignity for our families and undocumented people across the country. We are looking for a visionary and collaborative team member who understands grassroots organizing, values the power of data, and approaches technological challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset: “let’s find a solution.” The Lead, Data & Systems is ideal for someone who is experienced with and passionate about supporting organizations focused on grassroots and distributed organizing. This role uses data and technology to strengthen organizing efforts by helping teams access the information, tools, and systems they need to do what they do best - organize. Reporting to the Director of Organizational Culture & Systems, the Data & Systems Lead serves as a technical expert and trusted partner who strengthens organizational data capacity, supports the implementation and optimization of platform features, and identifies, tests, and implements innovative solutions. Guided by the organization's strategic goals, this role ensures data is collected accurately and consistently, improves workflows, streamlines data processes, strengthens data practices, and enhances overall data management. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-directed professional who exercises sound judgment, takes initiative to solve complex problems, and collaborates effectively across departments to strengthen organizational capacity through data and technology.
