About The Position

As part of our ongoing digital transformation, we are seeking a skilled Data Architect / Data Solution Architect to join our team. This critical role will focus on evolving our data infrastructure into a scalable, self-service ecosystem that empowers Citizen Development and team-level autonomy across the enterprise. Reporting to the GM – Data Engineering, you will play a key role in designing architectural patterns and governance frameworks that support high-performance data pipelines and platform capabilities, particularly within Manufacturing and Digital Innovation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be a key contributor to a transformative digital journey within a leading manufacturing enterprise. Additionally, you will get to work on cutting-edge initiatives that drive innovation and operational excellence and collaborate with passionate teams committed to advancing data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Databricks on AWS
  • Expertise in AWS services for data storage and transformation
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, big data technologies, and modern data pipeline architectures
  • Working experience with relational databases such as Postgres and SQL Server
  • Familiarity with persona-based access control and role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and MDM platforms
  • Proven ability to design both detailed and high-level data architecture
  • Experience with data security, compliance, and governance best practices
  • Experience creating and translating Infrastructure as Code

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on development experience in data engineering or related fields
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases
  • Exposure to AI technologies; experience building AI frameworks with Databricks
  • Designing and Presenting architecture to leadership
  • IIOT integration for Manufacturing plants
  • Familiarity with Edge Computing and Infrastructure
  • Creating De-centralized environments
  • Familiarity with manufacturing digital innovation tools

Responsibilities

  • Establish and enforce long-term Data architectural standards for Enterprise Data ecosystems (Centralized / Mesh)
  • Design and implement scalable data architecture patterns to support data initiatives
  • Provide Data architectural delivery and oversight for critical initiatives including in the domains of Manufacturing, Sales and Supply Chain
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure stable leadership and influence that drives successful scaling of Data Platforms
  • Maintain and institutionalize critical knowledge related to Data architectural patterns within the Enterprise
  • Address current capacity bottlenecks by delivering high-performance data pipelines and platform capabilities aligned with data-driven excellence goals
  • Serve as a strategic partner in advancing digital transformation efforts through innovative data solutions
