About The Position

As a senior data security engineer on our team, you’ll be integral to architecting, deploying, and operating security solutions across various DoW clients in the Indo-Pacific. You’ll use your extensive knowledge of data security tools and endpoint detection and response (EDR) to monitor, detect and respond to potentially malicious cyber behavior that could compromise data, systems or the mission. Create standard operating procedures and configurations for optimal zero trust security posture. Coordinate with multi-discipline zero trust engineering team to recommend enhanced design and operations. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience designing, deploying, and configuring data security solutions
  • Experience with Elastic for visibility and analytics
  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools, such as Forcepoint, Trellix, or Symantec
  • Experience in cyber event analytics and workflow
  • Experience documenting and diagraming workflow processes
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and configuring data security solutions
  • Experience working in federal, DoD, or IC agency environments
  • Experience managing and maintaining containerization solutions
  • Knowledge of Virtru Data Security Platform (DSP) and Kafka
  • Knowledge of Trusted Data Format (TDF) and Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC)
  • Knowledge of Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel
  • Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT, Cybersecurity, or Engineering field
  • CISSP, GSE, CASP+ or similar advanced security Certifications
