About The Position

Jerry.ai is hiring 2–3 Data Scientists for its central Data Science & Analytics team, with each person embedded in a core business area such as growth marketing, product development, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships. The role owns the analytical function for its assigned business unit end-to-end, helping the company make decisions and drive business outcomes as it expands its product and customer base. Job title and level may vary depending on the candidate. The Data Scientist will identify the business questions and decisions that matter, define metrics, create reports, conduct analyses, design experiments, and surface insights. The role combines analytical work with hands-on execution: bringing recommendations to stakeholders in product, growth, finance, or operations and helping teams act on them. Jerry describes this as a high-ownership role focused on materially affecting the business, without unnecessary meetings or corporate process.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to independently pull, structure, and interpret data.
Comfort with SQL or Python.
Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering impact.
Clear, persuasive communication skills and ability to influence decisions at the leadership level.

Responsibilities

Own the analytical function end-to-end for an assigned business unit.
Clarify the business question an analysis should answer and the decision it should inform; challenge flawed questions.
Define metrics and build reports.
Run analyses and design experiments.
Surface insights that improve the business unit’s key metrics.
Present recommendations to counterparts in product, growth, finance, or operations, explaining what is happening, why, and what steps to take next.
Drive decisions and follow through on execution.
