Data Scientist
About The Position
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Data Scientist to perform advanced data analysis using statistical and quantitative methods, develop visualizations that support decision-making, and create software solutions to monitor and manage data pipeline tasks. The role calls for a strong technical background in data manipulation, AI/ML technologies, and database systems, along with the ability to generate actionable insights from complex datasets. The Data Scientist will work with varied file types, including geospatial formats, JSON, and XML; perform data manipulation and ETL; and use SQL and NoSQL database technologies. The position requires a TS/SCI-level clearance or higher. The listed base pay range is $120,400–$234,700 USD in specified states and the District of Columbia; compensation varies by factors including location, skills, and experience.
Requirements
- Experience working with AI/ML technologies and data systems.
- Experience working with multiple file types, including JSON and XML.
- Experience in quantitative analysis, visualization development, and processing complex data to produce actionable insights.
- Experience with data manipulation and ETL procedures.
- Knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL.
- Development experience in Python, its libraries, and other programming languages for data cleaning and manipulation.
- TS/SCI-level security clearance or higher.
Nice To Haves
- Experience applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms to extract data from documents.
- Familiarity with enterprise Computer Vision applications, automated data collection, reporting, and data standardization best practices.
- Expertise in mathematics, statistics, and quantitative analysis, with experience in classification, regression, clustering, data reduction, and causal modeling.
