As a Data Scientist for the Center of Excellence in the Americas Commercial Operations team, you will develop analytical models, predictive insights, visualizations, and AI-enabled solutions that support complex business decisions. This role partners closely with IT teams to ensure analytical solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise technology standards. It is designed for someone who can independently deliver high-quality analytical work while continuing to grow in strategic thinking, communication, and business partnership. The ideal candidate combines strong modeling foundations with excellent data visualization and storytelling skills, enabling them to translate complex analyses into clear, compelling insights for non-technical audiences. NO SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE In this role, a typical day will include: Partner with business stakeholders to clarify analytical needs, shape them into actionable modeling initiatives, and ensure alignment with IT, enterprise architecture, and data platform capabilities. Build, validate, and interpret statistical, predictive, and machine learning models supporting forecasting, segmentation, performance analysis, and decision support. Develop clear visual narratives and analytical summaries that highlight insights, trends, and trade‑offs, and present recommendations with appropriate business context. Apply AI agents, LLM‑based tools, intelligent automation, and emerging AI techniques to enhance analytical workflows and insight generation, ensuring secure and compliant implementation with IT. Build, deploy, and maintain data science solutions in AWS environments; use SQL and Python to develop data pipelines, modeling workflows, and analytical assets, leveraging NLP exposure when applicable. Translate analytical outputs into concise, business‑ready narratives for diverse stakeholder groups. Collaborate with Associate Data Scientists and peers, providing guidance on analytical approaches, visualization, communication, and solution delivery; partner with IT, Data Engineering, and Cloud Architecture teams to design secure, scalable solutions. Ensure all analytical models, data pipelines, and deployed solutions comply with IT security, governance, architecture, data management standards, and responsible AI principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (High School + 10 years; Associate’s + 6 years; Master’s + 0 years)
  • Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 2 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in strategic thinking and long‑term analytical impact

  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, visualization standards, and 2 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
