About The Position
We are seeking an applied Data Scientist to help turn data into actionable insights and predictive solutions. This role focuses on hands-on model development within a modern data platform, partnering closely with engineering teams to solve real-world optimization and decision-making problems.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience working in Databricks
- Experience building and deploying ML models (not just analysis)
- Strong understanding of ML fundamentals and optimization methods
- Engineering-oriented mindset with applied problem-solving experience
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineers
Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and iterate on machine learning models in Databricks
- Apply neural networks, tree-based models, and classical optimization techniques
- Collaborate closely with data and engineering teams on applied ML initiatives
- Integrate and work with vendor-provided models and internal ML pipelines
- Support new ML use cases and early AI/agent-based solutions as needed
- Contribute to ML Ops practices (conceptual support, not infrastructure ownership)
