About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Scientist with an AI/ML focus to join their Management Consulting team. This role involves assisting in the development of AI/ML models for infrastructure analysis, supporting data cleaning and preprocessing, and creating visualizations for leadership. The position also includes participating in workflow automation, conducting exploratory data analysis, documenting model development, and assisting in model integration into cloud environments. The Data Scientist will also support feature engineering, collaborate on wargaming and simulation projects, and prepare reports on analysis results. This role requires an active Secret clearance and a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or STEM field.
  • Experience with Python programming

  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles.
  • Exposure to big data tools like Spark.
  • Interest in predictive modeling and optimization.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
  • Knowledge of DoD data governance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing AI/ML models for infrastructure analysis.
  • Support data cleaning and preprocessing tasks.
  • Help create dashboards and visualizations for leadership.
  • Participate in automation of workflows using scripts.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis under supervision.
  • Document model development steps and maintain code repositories.
  • Assist in integrating models into cloud environments.
  • Support feature engineering for predictive models.

  • Prepare reports summarizing analysis results.
