About The Position

Develop and participate in machine learning and data analysis driven projects that support the underwriting function with high impact on cost savings, operational efficiency and insights and customer satisfaction. The role being advertised is an existing vacancy.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • 2 years of data analysis experience.
  • 2 years of experience using programming languages including Python or R.
  • 2 years of statistical testing and modeling experience.
  • 1 year of experience using machine learning principles and techniques.
  • 1 year of experience using data visualization tools or libraries.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and define business requirements and ensure alignment with data science objectives.
  • Design and complete experiments to validate and optimize machine learning models, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers to integrate data science solutions into existing systems and workflows.
  • Communicate sophisticated technical concepts and findings to technical and non-technical partners to ensure clear understanding and agreement.
  • Conduct peer reviews and participate in model and code reviews.
