About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to join our Technical Services team within the Scientist area. This role involves leading and developing data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence capabilities for the commercial organization. You will lead projects, work within cross-functional teams to derive insights, and independently identify business needs, propose analytical solutions, and execute them. The role requires building high-performance algorithms, prototypes, and predictive models using Python, working with SQL and other database query languages, and collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders. You will also be responsible for presenting analysis ideas and results, creating compelling presentations in PowerPoint, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, security, and privacy requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with four (4) years of experience as a Scientist within the pharmaceutical or regulated industry.
Bilingual (English & Spanish).
Project Management skills.
Experience in Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Databricks, or similar analytics and visualization platforms.
Experience in Enterprise data platforms, data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data integration solutions.

Responsibilities

Leading, using and developing data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence capabilities across commercial organization.
Leading the projects and be part of cross functional teams on projects and/or programs with aims to systematically derive insights.
Taking the initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
Identifying business needs, doing SWOT analysis, proposing potential analytical approaches for solutions, obtain approvals and the execute.
Building high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models and proof of concepts using Python.
Working with SQL and other DB query languages.
Leading, collaborating and communicating cross-functionally with stakeholders to develop appropriate methodology to answer specific business questions.
Presenting analysis ideas, progress and results to business partners in clear and impactful manner.
Creating powerful stories in PowerPoint. Well versed in MS Office suite specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Assuring compliance with regulatory, security, and privacy requirements as it relates to data assets.
