About The Position

The DoW Data Scientist – War Data Platform is a mission-focused technical role developing data science, analytics, and data-engineering solutions within the Department of Defense War Data Platform ecosystem. The role integrates and analyzes large-scale operational, logistics, readiness, and force-design data using tools such as Foundry and Advana. It supports warfighter-focused decision-making by building predictive models, optimizing pipelines, and delivering analytics products that inform strategy, resource allocation, and senior-leader decisions. The position is hybrid, with onsite engagement depending on mission needs. The data scientist develops War Data Platform workflows and analytics, builds Foundry pipelines and Advana dashboards, creates predictive and statistical models, and engineers data integration and automation solutions for secure DoD environments. The role also collaborates with mission stakeholders and advises senior leaders, translating complex analyses into operationally meaningful insights.
