About The Position

Abra Professional Services is seeking a Data Scientist to join a model development team. This role involves leading the development of strategic, enterprise-wide AI and machine learning initiatives across business domains. The position requires strong hands-on experience in end-to-end model development, classic machine learning, classification and regression models, tabular data, data analysis, Python, and translating business requirements into technical and analytical solutions. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Central Israel, with one day a week remote.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end model development.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with machine learning models for classification and regression.
• At least 5 years of experience processing and analyzing large-scale tabular datasets.
• Proven hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong experience in data analysis and data preparation for models.
• Strong experience in the data domain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical and analytical solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.

• Experience developing Generative AI-based applications.
• Experience working in large, complex organizations with a broad, system-oriented perspective.
• Practical development experience and strong business understanding within the banking or financial services domain.
• Experience working in cloud-based environments.
• Experience in data processing using PySpark.

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models on AWS-based infrastructure.
• Derive actionable insights from data using advanced analytical tools and artificial intelligence technologies.
• Define algorithmic solutions to address complex business challenges.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
• Present analytical findings and strategic business insights to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and measure model performance and effectiveness.
