Sr Data Scientist
About The Position
The Data Scientist will lead projects and collaborate with business partners including commercial insights teams, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, data teams, external vendor partners, service owners and IS partners to develop analytical models and insights across the PR Operations Organization to answer/solve specific business problems. This role will lead advanced analytics projects from the front and will be responsible for end to end execution. This role will innovate and create significant business impact through the strategic use of advanced analytics techniques.
Requirements
- Doctorate, Masters + 2 years experience or Bachelors + 4 years experience or Associates + 8 years experience or High school/GED + 10 years experience
- Experience in work field of: Data science, business, statistics, data mining, applied mathematics, business analytics, engineering, computer science or related field.
- Special Courses or certificates in AI models.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience deploying or integrating AI solutions into manufacturing or operational environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects and collaborate with business partners including commercial insights teams, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, data teams, external vendor partners, service owners and IS partners to develop analytical models and insights across the PR Operations Organization to answer/solve specific business problems.
- Lead advanced analytics projects from the front and will be responsible for end to end execution.
- Innovate and create significant business impact through the strategic use of advanced analytics techniques.
- Experience with automated inspection systems development and implementation.
- Hands-on experience developing AI/ML models for image analysis, defect detection, classification, or process optimization.
- Experience with Computer Vision technologies and industrial camera systems.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, or similar AI/ML frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis using Minitab, JMP, or other statistical software.
- Understanding of inspection development processes and validation methodologies.
- Experience generating technical documentation, protocols, reports, and development records.
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP), quality systems, and compliance requirements.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Quality and compliance-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- Computer literate with proficient use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and digital technologies.
