About The Position
As a Staff Data Scientist at Walmart, you will leverage advanced analytical techniques and machine learning to transform complex data into actionable business insights. Requirements
- Proven expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms, and data science methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python programming and advanced data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Plotly, or Tableau.
- Strong knowledge of data strategy, including data quality standards, governance, and scalable data storage solutions.
- Experience conducting exploratory data analysis and applying statistical methods to interpret complex datasets.
- Ability to assess, validate, and tune models using best practices and relevant evaluation metrics.
- Understanding of business context to translate requirements into actionable data-driven solutions.
- Skilled in coding, testing, and deploying models and data applications in production environments.
- Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 4 years' experience in an analytics related field.
- Masters degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years' experience in an analytics related field.
- 6 years' experience in an analytics or related field
