About The Position

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Data Scientist for its enterprise Data & Analytics Solution Delivery team. The role applies advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to address business needs and deliver measurable business outcomes and competitive advantage. The Data Scientist is expected to continue learning and maintain expertise in evolving technologies and analytical methods. The position works with business partners to frame problems for analytics, mine and transform data, and develop data-driven solutions. It also develops predictive models and algorithms, evaluates model performance, and produces machine learning, forecasting, and optimization solutions.

Requirements

Typically requires 10 or more years of relevant experience, or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
Commitment to continuous learning and maintaining expertise in evolving technologies and analytical methodologies.

Responsibilities

Engage with business partners to understand problems and help frame them for analytics.
Mine data and transform raw data into actionable business information.
Develop and implement business solutions using advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques.
Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms to extract value from data.
Validate model performance using appropriate standards and error metrics.
Manage data version control and documentation.
Develop and produce supervised and unsupervised machine learning, forecasting, and optimization solutions.
