About The Position

At Lyft, the Data Scientist partners with Engineers, Product Managers, Product Designers, and Business Partners to frame problems mathematically and in a business context. The role uses exploratory data analysis to deepen understanding of problems, collaborates with Software Engineers to implement algorithms and analytics events in production, and designs and runs simulated and live traffic experiments. The Data Scientist analyzes experimental and observational data, communicates findings, and facilitates launch decisions.

Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
2 years of experience in the job offered, operations research, or a related occupation.
Experience creating metrics, analytical dashboards, and tools to track and monitor growth.
Experience with statistics, business forecasts and estimates, and authoring data pipelines.
Experience writing production queries and designing and analyzing experiments.
