About The Position

We are seeking an early-career Data Scientist to join our Digital Solutions & Analytics team, building data-driven solutions on KLA's Global Supply Chain Services (GSCS) Foundry instance. You'll learn to design pipelines, model real-world entities in the Ontology, and build operational applications that teams use to make decisions daily. With mentorship from senior FDEs, you'll grow into a fully internally developed engineer. This is an opportunity to accelerate your development in a team that prioritizes technical excellence, mentorship, and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Comfort with data modeling and working with structured datasets
  • Strong problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to take ambiguous problems and translate them into structured analytical approaches
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and insights clearly
  • Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and grow in a team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field and 0 years related work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data pipelines, ETL, or version control (GIT)
  • Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or operations domains
  • Interest in AI/ML and applying it to enterprise workflows
  • Palantir Foundry exposure

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data pipelines that integrate, clean, and transform supply chain data
  • Design Ontology models that represent real-world operations (parts, shipments, suppliers)
  • Create applications and workflows for business users
  • Support AI-powered workflows (summarization, recommendations, automation) using AIP
  • Partner with business teams to translate operational problems into platform solutions
  • Progress through structured FDE development milestones
