About The Position

As a Senior Data Scientist at Walmart, you will leverage advanced analytical techniques and programming expertise to develop, validate, and deploy scalable data models that drive strategic business decisions. The Content Intelligence team at Walmart - VIZIO specializes in delivering personalized experiences to millions of customers through advanced AI and machine learning models. The team consists of collaborative data scientists and machine learning engineers skilled in statistics, recommendation systems, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence. They focus on designing innovative solutions that enhance customer engagement by providing relevant recommendations. Requirements

• Extensive experience in data science and advanced statistical methods to develop and validate analytical models.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Java for code development, testing, and model deployment.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques, including feature selection, tuning, and multistage model assessment.
• Expertise in data visualization tools and best practices to effectively communicate complex data insights.
• Understanding of data ecosystems, data quality standards, and scalable data storage solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Experience mentoring junior associates and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful business results.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years' experience in an analytics related field.
• Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 1 years' experience in an analytics related field.
• 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field.
