About The Position

Responsible for conducting intermediate analysis on various data types to uncover hidden patterns and unknown correlations to support business and management decisions. This includes data mining, data auditing, aggregation, validation, and reconciliation. Build reports for management as well as conducts basic hypothesis tests (contextualize basic levels of complexity). Utilizes analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, Tableau, SAS, SPSS, and others to perform analysis and interpret data. Create visual dashboards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, operations research, statistics, economics, data science, computer science or related technical field is required.
Two years of relevant work experience is required for the Mid-level position.
Five years of relevant work experience is required for the Senior position.
Eight years of experience required for the Principal position.
Experience with analytics packages, such as SAS, R, SPSS.
Understands database concepts and is able to provide clear direction to staff assigned to manage data for analytics use cases.
Established leader working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must establish and maintain a permanent residence within a 45-minute safe drive time to the D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant.

Consult with business unit partners to identify, prioritize, and develop actionable insights, providing analyses across a variety of core business areas.
