NAMS2 - Data Scientist I, II
About The Position
Crown is looking for all levels of Data Scientists to work on the NAMS-2 project in Mountain View, CA. Crown is a leader in planning and implementing aerospace and advanced transportation services, with a focus on advanced air mobility (AAM). We have more than three decades of experience in developing strategy, exploring concepts, assessing technologies, developing use cases, and projecting economic impacts for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and State Departments of Transportation. We are looking for an exceptional new team member to join our Crown innovators working with companies and government agencies to safely advance aviation’s newest frontier. Requirements
- A Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent
- 5 or more year’s relevant experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in implementing machine learning algorithms for NASA and/or NASA-relevant problems.
- Prefer candidates local to the SF Bay Area
Responsibilities
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies found in big data sets by performing extensive data analysis to develop insights.
- Perform data mining, cleaning, and aggregation processes to prepare data, implement data models, conduct analysis, and develop databases.
- Interpret results from multiple structured and unstructured data sources using programming, statistical, and analytical techniques and tools.
- Designs, develops, and implements machine learning tools to organize, extract and present relevant information from a variety of real-world data sets.
- Collaborate with teams to understand each data analysis projects' underlying purpose, focus, and objectives.
