About The Position

JPMorgan Chase is seeking Data Scientists to design and develop machine learning solutions for security platforms. This role involves creating and deploying models to enforce least privilege access principles, analyzing model performance, and implementing improvements. Responsibilities include processing large datasets for exploration, standardization, cleansing, and feature engineering, as well as performing machine learning operations and deploying models to production. The role also ensures applications meet security and compliance requirements, implements infrastructure as code, and manages infrastructure deployment for data science workloads. Identifying and resolving application vulnerabilities and maintaining compliance standards are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Performing data exploration, transformation, aggregation, statistical analysis, and data cleansing using Python, Jupyter Notebook, SQL, pandas, and PySpark.
Designing and developing data science models using Python and machine learning libraries, including Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, including PyTorch.
Performing data science development using AWS cloud-based tools, including S3, SageMaker, and EMR.
Performing machine learning operations and deploying models to production using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and AWS services such as SageMaker.
Implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform to create AWS resources, including S3 and EMR.
Developing RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask to serve data science models.
