About The Position

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Scientist to develop advanced machine learning models and generative AI solutions. The role supports intelligent products and data-driven decision-making through work across the full model lifecycle. The position requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI CIP clearance, along with a related bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI CIP clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience developing machine learning models and analytics solutions.
• Proven experience with generative AI techniques and large language models.
• Strong understanding of data exploration, feature engineering, validation, and refinement.
• Excellent collaboration skills for partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with model lifecycle management and monitoring for bias and fairness.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions to support intelligent products.
• Prototype scalable predictive, classification, and optimization solutions.
• Integrate generative AI techniques, including large language model fine-tuning and prompt engineering.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineering, product, and MLOps teams to establish rigorous experimental designs.
• Monitor model fairness and governance to support ethical AI practices.
• Translate complex algorithmic outcomes into production-ready systems and impactful stakeholder insights.
