About The Position

Maximus is seeking a Data Scientist to support the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) program. The role applies advanced analytics, statistical methods, and data visualization to improve the readiness, performance, resilience, and long-term well-being of Special Operations Forces personnel and their families. The Data Scientist turns complex operational and health data into practical insights that support evidence-based decisions and strengthen program outcomes. The position involves collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, including the Human Performance Data Management System (HPDMS), and developing analytical methods, models, reports, and dashboards. The role collaborates with program staff, biostatisticians, clinicians, and other partners to translate findings into recommendations, while presenting results clearly and protecting sensitive information. The position is pending upon contract award. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance, or eligibility to obtain and maintain one as required for contract performance, are stated in the description; the job-specific requirements also specify an active Secret clearance.
