About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support complex scientific and technical efforts through the application of data science, statistics, modeling, and computational methods. This position will emphasize scientific problem-solving, research, modeling, and experimentation rather than traditional data visualization and business analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, a physical science, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Strong background in data science, statistics, scientific computing, modeling, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with Python, R, MATLAB, or similar programming and data science tools.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Apply data science, statistical, and computational methods to complex scientific and technical problems.
• Develop and validate statistical, predictive, and scientific models.
• Analyze complex datasets to support research, experimentation, and technical decision-making.
• Support modeling and simulation efforts and scientific research activities.
• Develop data-driven methodologies and algorithms to address technical challenges.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, analysts, and other technical personnel.
• Document technical approaches, methodologies, findings, and results.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
