About The Position

Provide statistical, mathematical, visualization, or coding support to assist an Intelligence community client analyze and interpret a wide range of data and aid with data management efforts to ensure interoperability, conservation of resources, and consistency across the client’s Enterprise. Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop business questions, then identify the necessary data to analyze and answer those questions. Leverage data mining techniques for structured and unstructured information to join and explore relationships in disparate data sets, then apply advanced analytics capabilities to derive insights from a combination of unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data that will be used to inform the client’s strategy and decisions, in partnership with teams examining dashboard or website design, customer interactions, featured content, and future GEOINT products and services. Utilize industry standard communication and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel and Tableau to visualize and communicate complex quantitative information and analysis to senior executives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Excel
  • Experience with high level languages such as SQL and Python
  • Ability to develop mathematical algorithms or applications in response to complex requirements such as error and root cause analysis
  • Ability to clean, maintain, move, and manipulate data between applications, using appropriate software, such as R, Python, or SQL, as technology evolves
  • Ability to develop data visualization dashboards for senior executive audiences
  • Ability to apply business analytics techniques in any corporate function, such as marketing analytics, consumer analytics, operations analysis, or human capital analytics fields
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics
