Requirements

  • BSc/MA in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in a quantitative data analysis role involving user behavior (e.g., marketing, product, UI/UX) and large datasets.
  • Expertise in statistics, particularly in hypothesis testing and experiment design.
  • Experience analyzing A/B tests and experiments using advanced statistical methods (e.g., difference-in-difference, regression discontinuity) for network effects or panel data.
  • Experience building predictive models and causal inference models.
  • Experience analyzing large and complex datasets to derive business insights and inform decisions.
  • Expertise in using R and Python for data analysis.
  • Proven success in supporting or making business decisions based on data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and convey technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced experience with SQL.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Bayesian modeling methods.
  • Experience with Marketing Mix Models and Multi-Touch Attribution models.
  • Experience analyzing two-sided marketplaces.
  • Experience with B2C, marketplace products.
  • Experience with BI tools like Tableau and Looker.

Responsibilities

  • Gain insights from large datasets and partner with the marketing team to identify and test data-driven ideas for improving efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of marketing models, including a Bayesian Marketing Mix Model and a Multi-Touch Attribution model.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing uplift tests with statistical rigor, present data and insights to the team, and drive marketing decisions.
  • Address complex problems by developing testable models and algorithms with measurable business impact.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to build a world-class product.
