This role requires a Data Scientist with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, operations research, or a comparable field. The position involves a minimum of 5 years of experience in professional software algorithm development and/or database management and visualization. The candidate must be proficient in Python, R, Matlab, Lua, or other data science-centric programming languages and possess a strong mathematical foundation in optimization, multi-variate calculus, probability & statistics, linear algebra, and numerical methods. Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning concepts, such as Artificial Neural Networks, SVMs, Random Forests, and Gaussian Processes, as well as common data visualization technologies like matplotlib, bokeh, d3, or matlab, is essential. The role also demands exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn new technologies, and strong organizational, decision-making, and communication abilities. The ideal candidate will exhibit a high level of self-initiative and self-motivation, capable of working independently, and can collaborate effectively in small teams to tackle complex challenges. A favorable Tier 1 (T1) security investigation is a prerequisite for this position.
