About The Position

This position is contingent upon award of contract SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Data Scientist (IT Architecture Specialist) Coalition to support our customer in McDill AFB, Florida. The role involves supporting the gathering, vetting, documenting, assigning, and tracking of information sharing requirements with traditional and non-traditional mission partners, ensuring the appropriate information is available to the DoDIIS enterprise. It also includes providing systems and process evaluation, design, development, and implementation to support information sharing or automation requirements. The specialist will collect coalition information sharing or automation requirements within the USCENTCOM AOR, participate in the development of coalition information sharing strategies, and monitor the development and/or implementation of tools supporting information sharing. A key aspect of the role is effectively communicating with seniors and developing/presenting briefings and materials to coalition stakeholders, covering topics from information sharing requirements to technical descriptions of applicable tools. Additionally, the role assists in migration planning for systems being deactivated and tracks/participates in system design efforts for new information sharing systems. Support is also provided in designing objective systems architecture and integrating intelligence applications/communications to enable effective solutions for USCENTCOM J2 and theater components. The specialist will develop DoDAF derived operational (OV-1 through OV-4) and system (SV-1 through SV-4) architecture views for each assigned intelligence IT system/architecture project.

Requirements

• Active In-Scope TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience designing objective systems architecture and integrating intelligence applications/communications.
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas and collaborate with stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of education; or have Bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Support gathering, vetting, documenting, assigning, and tracking of information sharing requirements with traditional/nontraditional mission partners and ensuring the appropriate information is available to the DoDIIS enterprise.
• Provide systems and process evaluation, design, development and/or implementation as required to support information sharing or automation requirements.
