About The Position

This graduate intern role applies data science and advanced analytics to generate insights that improve member health, cost, experience, and operational performance. The graduate intern will partner with clinical, operational, and analytics teams to support data driven decision making across care management, utilization management, and population health initiatives. There are two potential engagement paths: project based analysis, focused on applying data science techniques to analyze and communicate patterns in healthcare and operational data; and methods oriented application, focused on applying a specific advanced data science methodology (e.g., causal inference or large language models) across multiple relevant use cases. This role is ideal for a current graduate student or recent graduate (Master’s or PhD preferred) with strong quantitative training and an interest in applying data science to real world healthcare challenges. This 8 week summer internship runs from June 22 through August 14, with a possible extension based on business needs. Candidates must be able to work within the Pacific Time Zone.
